Core stability exercises

Stabilise the lumbar spine during activity

Core muscles help to stabilise the lumbar spine during activity and provide stability whilst at the same time allowing flexibility. This combination is essential to allow pain free movement and re-education of these muscles is essential after any type of back injury.

We use many forms of core stability exercise to help all levels of individual from back pain sufferers who just want to get back to work to high level athletes who need to maximise their performance.

Programmes are always driven by the goals of the individual and exercises learnt can easily be continued with no, or minimal, equipment.

Please contact MJB Physio or telephone 01757 210851 to discuss this exercise method.
